Monuments of the World War II after 65th anniversary

Alleur (Ans), Belgium

three monuments:

- In Memory of the liberation of Ans by the tankers of the 3rd Armored Division in September 1944.

- In Gratefulness to the 143rd AAA Guns Bn who protectected the city of Loncin during World War II

- USA 298th General Hospital University of Michigan filiated unit admitted 22.983 patients at Alleur from November 1944 to September 1945.  (The three monuements were inaugurated on September 21, 2012)
Bastogne, Belgium

Road to Clervaux, at the Sherman turret.  Plaque dedicated to the CCB 10th Armored Division (inaugurated December 10, 2011) 
Bihain, Belgium

In Memory of "Thunderbolt" 83rd Infantry Division, from Normandy to Germany. Liberation of Bihain 11th January 1945. (inaugurated January 8th, 2011)
 Echternach, Luxembourg

Plaque dedicated to the valiant men of "G" Company, 12th Infantry Regiment, 4th Infantry Division who tenaciously defended this mill from 16-20 December 1944. (Inaugurated in Jun 24, 2013)  
Houmont, Belgium

Plaque in french.  To the 41st Tank Bn, 21st Armored Infantry Bn, 11th Armored Division, During the winter 1944-1945, the village of Houmont was, for several days, the site of intense fighting for freedom.  Its residents have not forgotten their American liberators and show them recognition and eternal gratitude.  In Memoriam.(inaugurated March 24, 2012) 
Houmont, Belgium

Plaque in English. To the 194th Glider Infantry Rgt, 550th Infantry Airborne Bn, 17th Airborne Division.  During the winter 1944-1945, the village of Houmont was, for several days, the site of intense fighting for freedom.  Its residents have not forgotten their American liberators and show them recognition and eternal gratitude.  In Memoriam  (inaugurated March 24, 2012)

A new monument in honor of the American Liberators Artillery Units. (inaugurated June 18, 2011)
Regné (Vielsalm), Belgium

In tribute to the 16 American soldiers including 5 occupants of the jeep were taken under fire from an enemy tank on December 24, 1944.  Let us remember: Pvt Jay Derendinger 325th Glider 82nd AB, S/Sgt Joseph Pevahouse, 325th Glider 82nd AB, S/Sgt Stephen Jensen, 325th Glider 82nd AB, Pvt Grover P. Denver, 401st GIR 82nd AB, Pfc Justus T. Schreiber, 87th Cav Rec Sqd 7th AD.  (Inaugurated June 4, 2011)
Rencheux (Vielsalm), Belgium 

December 21-24, 1944 "In Tribute to the Defenders".

"With almost respect and gratitude to the American paratroopers who defended the Rencheux Bridge and river line and to the memory of their comrades who gave their lives for the liberation of Belgium and our Peace and Freedom." (Inaugurated Sept.7, 2013)

With almost respect and gratitude to the American soldiers who crossed the Rencheux Bridge and to the memory of their comrades who gave their lives for the liberation of Belgium and our Peace and Freedom."  (Inaugurated Sept.7, 2013)
 Rettigny (Gouvy) Belgium

Unveiling of the monument erected to the memory of the victims from the B-24 42-95220 fallen at Rettigny the 25th December 1944.  The 3 survivors made prisoners: 1st Lt William W. Truxhes (Pilote), 2nd Lt John E. Sullivan (Co-pilote), S:Sgt Burton Hurwitz (Bombardier).  The victims are: F/O David J. Countey (Navigator), S/Sgt John N. Ellefson (Radio-operator), S/Sgt Peter Hardick (Flight engineer), Sgt Alek Onischuk (Tail gunner), Sgt Roland L. Morehouse (Gunner), Sgt Stanley P. Koly (Gunner), Sgt Walter Walinski (Gunner). (Inaugurated April 28, 2012)
